Sun Prophet - Massacre Distortion Pedal

The Sun Prophet is a massive distortion pedal with two cascaded distortion stages. It was designed for low tunings and dense, doomy sounds where saturation and punch are paramount. The first stage operates as a classic hard-clipping distortion, delivering a direct, compact distortion sound with a clear response. The second stage simulates an overdriven power amplifier, providing warm, saturated overtones and additional volume. Both stages have a cut control that allows you to selectively reduce the high frequencies to make the sound darker and more controlled. At higher gain settings, the pedal can enter self-resonance and oscillate independently, creating almost endless sustains and drone-like soundscapes. The Sun Prophet is particularly suitable for downtuned guitars, heavy riffs and dense mixes where the distortion sound should still remain defined.
